I am Molly Peterson and I am deeply curious about the story of the world. So much so that I decided to write a blog about it! I believe that the world is made up of humanity and the choices we make that create the not-so-little thing that we call life. Life is a story and stories are imperative to human life. Stories teach, express, comfort, change, challenge, acknowledge, and preserve the lives of every human on this earth. Without stories we would have no history, no preservation of lessons or morals, no memories, no way to learn from the past. Every story, from textbooks and memoirs to fantasy and science-fiction, is based off of reality. In truth, everything not only has a story but is a story.
It is my goal in life to learn that story, the story of the world, with all of its plots and subplots and twists and cliffhangers. I'm young and hopefully have a lot of life left to learn. Therefor, I will travel and absorb every bit of the culture as I can hold; I will walk through every door of opportunity opened to me; I will live each day with an open mind and an accepting heart; I will know that each day holds somethings new and important no matter how average or mundane that day is, and I will document the stories that I learn through all the mediums I love.
I am an author working on her first novel, a photographer exploring the world through her camera, a musician discovering the power of music in the lives of others, and an actor utilizing words, sounds, movement, and visuals in telling the stories I learn.
In short:
I am a storyteller.
